Diagnostic: Do You Have A ‘Learning Mindset’?

Image result for learning mindset

Context

Imagine you are playing Tennis or Badminton with another opponent.

What is your state of mind when you hit the ball/shuttle in your opponent’s court?

  1. I feel happy when the opponent makes an error–because I win the point!
  2. I feel happy when the opponent is able to return the ball/shuttle nicely–because that challenges me even more!

If you mostly fall in category 2 above, then you have a very good learning mindset.

Such a mindset is more attached to learning than winning–and that is why it welcomes new challenges!

Key Insight
